What sorta psychology makes u closer to ads, nlp etc.
« on: November 20, 2008, 12:00:50 AM »
What specialization of psychology should I choose to develop ( or learn) such things as nlp, advertising, manipulating ppl ( i know it sounds bad) and how to make influence on people at all. I know there are courses for each one of these, anyway, I ask you all, what is more similar to ones I typed - clinical psychology or work and organization psychology ?? And which one of these two you have more chances to get well paid job after finished?

hi qook,

are you thinking about what courses to study at university? you will  probably find that there are only a couple of choices. a profession in either clinical psychology or organizational psychology will bring you a good salary.

thinking about your future, what is the most important thing you would want from your work?

sup man,

i'm already studying but there are no entirely satisfying me courses. Now I got general psychology, you know first few yrs, and then I will have choice what to pick -clinical and work . Anyway I would like to work in advertisement&commercial business, u know designing ads and commercials. But it goes in pair with nlp and ppl manipulating.

I know there is sth like public relations ( it's for master degree after u've finished at least undergraduate course )  and I can pick it up in the future, but for now I have choice only between clinical and work.
