Recommendations for independent learner?
« on: August 10, 2010, 06:42:55 PM »
I'm trying to find a good (recent) primer on the functions of the different brain regions and chemicals, preferably something I could find at the library or any bookstore, but I don't really know how to search for it. Anyone have any recommendations? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Society for Neuroscience (link) has an excellent layman's brain primer available on their website in PDF format. It's called Brain Facts - check under "Publications."

Enjoy.

Are you just posting one-liners in order to advertise that commercial link in your signature in various threads? Go viral market somewhere else.
