need help with school project on psychological disorders (obsession)

Hi, I'm new here and I need help with my school project. So, for my project, I decided to do something on fans. I'm sure you're all aware of the term. They're also known as passionate supporters. Anyways, I have some questions about obsessive disorders and I was hoping that you could answer them. I would really appreciate it if someone did answer these questions though. I apologize for any mistakes.

1. What are the symptoms of being obsessed with something or someone?
2. Are celebrity stalkers mentally ill? If so, please explain.
3. How does obsession start?
4. How does obsession grow?
5. How do you cure obsession?
