Is there any reason for anyone to Major in Psychology and Minor in Music? Are there any music related Psychology jobs that anyone knows of? I love music but not enough for that to be all I focus my studies on. Just looking at the possibilities

as enigma said music therapy, i imagine would be a rewarding career.

music and psychology go well together in advertising.

i have noidea what the job market is like for eithe r of these professions.

do you think you some investigating of the job market might help you?

perhaps looking for advertisements in psychology focused magazines and some professional journals the kind that have reader submitted content like personl ads and classifieds rather than scholarly journals.

They've also been doing a lot of work with the brain's response to music, and the psychological effects of that response.

That is, if you're interested in research.

I'm definitely interested in research. That sounds like something I would enjoy. If there is ever a possibility for me to do something like that I would go for it. ;D

I major in psychology but take an jazz bass class and a musical composition class.
