is this for yourself?

i geuss, writing papers is in the realm of english language class.

the ability to write scientific papers i presume comes with producing academic course work at graduate / post graguate level.

you could always take a creative writing class though, i suppose depends what you wanted to do.

what do you want to do?

Scientists usually have to take many classes, but there are several "basic" ones. Look for ones entitled "Research Methodology", "Experimental Design", "Hypothesis Testing" and "Critical Thinking". These are common classes in Psychology but most of the other sciences have something similar.

Yes, they are classes. The thing is that these classes are embedded in the general academic one and it is hard for you to remember whether you had learned them. However a deep though on this would make you to remember that you had attended enough of those classes in your educational life.

Yes, there are a lot of classes but I think that first of all you must decide on the topic of your papers or books. The style and the technology of writing are not so complicated things.

It's important to write SOMETHING every night. A night spent not writing is a night forever lost. Begin developing your own style, take classes on both style and content, and then merge these to create your niche.

Well my question is answered.  I'm in a class this semester on how to write papers in APA format.  It's painfully boring yet extremely necessary.
