It's difficult to achieve understanding when you actively refuse to make any sense. Like many other pseudo-intellectuals - an excellent choice of term, by the way - you hide behind vague term definitions and the shill claim that it's not your ideas that are incoherent, it's the recipients of your message that are too stupid to understand your "truth."

Hey.  Listen?  If I were a straight guy talking to a gay guy...after I made sure I wasn't going to jump me...which happened... I'd talk about women's hair styles...just think about the interesting information he'd tell me?  Just think of the hours of informative information?  Guy guys have lots of female friends...just think of the knowledge....the advice for finding women?

I'm not kidding!  Gay guys can be great friends with straight guys because they are intouch with their emotions.  They can be an extreme value for the straight guy.  You can throw that macho facade out the window and actually have a REAL conversation with them.

A gay guy knows how to find great women for srraight guys.  Ever ask a straight guy what he thinks of a women.  "Nice tits!"  What?  I don't want just tits...I could put a sculpture of tits on my mantle piece if I wanted just tits... I want more!

A gay guy can tell you if she's color coordinated.  A gay guy can teach how to be color coordinated.  A must when you are in a girlfriend relationship.  Guys?  How many times has a girl asked you if this goes with this and you say it looks great and she knows your lying?  Gays know this stuff...listen to them...

Once they know your straight...just think of the valuable information you can pick up about girls?

Well damn... I walk away from internet access for a few days and I come back to find this topic in shambles. I was looking forward to hearing Hemphill answer at least one of our questions! Again I say, damn!

Sparrowhawk, I think you might have missed the point. According to Hemphill, there is no such thing as homosexuality. So you have never talked to a gay guy, since they dont exist. We are ALL heterosexual. (And might I add, clearly he has never gone to a gay bar before! There IS something as "crazy" as HOMOSEXUALITY) Some people are simply too close minded and sheltered to accept something that is not his own.

DevilsAdvocate, I was trying to differentiate sociology from Psychology by explaining the truth that can be seen only with distinction. Semantics and colloquialisms must be taken into account. Our very words that we use daily are used incorrectly along with limited philosophical points of view to create false beliefs.

I don't mean there are no gay people only that gay is cultural and all people are genetically heterosexual.
