Kind of thread jacking here, but If you guys had the ability to see the future and DID have the ability to change what would happen.  What would you use your unique power to do?  Note you can state how powerful this ability is.  However, having just discovered it you might not be adept at it.
Personally, I have a concept of wealth redistribution.  I call it Gambler's Tax.  Where if I had the ability to predict an out come I would simply use it to win at the casinos and use that money to invest in businesses that help the economy ie mom and pop shops OR my own system of living (sort of like a utopia for all those willing to obey the laws strictly).  Though finding people that won't break the law are hard to find =/  So basically i'd be a modern and psychic robin hood lol.

I would imagine an infinity of experiments to be carried out at unspecified time in the future and base derivative research on their, precognitively known to me, results, the results of which I would then also know, and so forth. This would effectively create a technological singularity within my own mind with which I could do more or less whatever I pleased.

What would I then do with de-facto omnipotence? I guess we'll find out when I become preconscious!

Precognition can consist of the objective (probability/coincidence, sublimal cues and physiological warning dreams)..

On the subjective, there can be the possibility of "Time & Space Continuum", actual precognitive abilities, or even God...

However, the topic is subjective and I don't see researchers finding the truth in "precognition" anywhere in the near future... But in my opinion, it could be a mixture of both the subjective and objective.. It is difficult to assess these claims(the subject may leave out important subtle details on his claim due to his own bias and ego defense, some precognition occurences are more narrow and precise than others that are more general, and this phenomena happens in real time so to implicate findings in laboratory settings would take a miracle itself...

Anyways, if you guys are interested in the idea of "pre-cognition", you should look into the theory of synchronicity by Carl Jung...
