Out of body experience
« on: February 23, 2010, 08:10:02 PM »
When I was about 5 years old. I was staying at a hotel in Orlando, Florida. I couldn't swim yet and I had a non circular intertube floating device (the kind that don't completely go around) When i reached the deep end I slip through the intertube and I'm trapped underwater. The second I submerge I feel my back up against the side of the bool and I witness this kid drowning. After about 45 seconds I saw my cousin dive in and swoop him up. As his arms wrap around the young kid I come back to consciousness and find myself in my cousin's arms. How do you explain this phenomenon? Is it like astral projection?

Well there is current proof that certain electrode in specific brain area give the out of body hallucination. You can check these out for yourself, type 'out of body science' in a search field. Its the 'on the brink of death' situation.

The biggest question is?  Did the kid actually drown in the pool?  Did you see the actual event after the fact?  When you were drowning did you see the vision without the kid actually being there?

From what you posted it sounded like you were drowning and, in your mind, you saw a boy drown, too.  Yet, when you came too, you were in your cousins arms.  The boy you had witnessed never eixisted to your knowledge.

Please clarify your post for me so I understand better...
Entangled was a CNA working in psychiatric hospital for many years, and enjoyed taking to people.  Since then, he has studied psychology and sociology and has been a patient himself with OCD, anxiety and depresssion...

I once dreamt that i was walking downtown kind of like a ghost - noone could see me and i could see everything. Then i saw a building on fire and the fire truck was moving very slowly to the scene because of a road block or traffic or something.
After I woke up it seemed like nonsense. I had a flight that day so i packed and left the country. When I came back and my father was driving me home, I saw that same building but it was completely charred and broken down. My father said there was a fire that week and it took a while for the firefighters to reach the scene - he didnt know why. How do you explain that?
