Do you also have instances where things seem like they're "dream like" or like you're "in a dream" or some hot flashes associated with slight nausea?

You should go get checked out, you may possibly have epilepsy.

Deja vu has no ill effects as far as I know. Nothing much to be worried about. Unless it is "The Matrix" type of deja vu.

I have never had siezure.Ever.

There are different types of seizures.  The type that most people think of is the tonic clonic seizure where the person loses consciousness and goes into convulsions.  Some types of partial seizures involve changes in consciousness but the person does not lose consciousness nor do they convulse.  The reason I asked is that I suffered from partial seizures myself for a while and one of the recurring symptoms was strong feelings of deja vu.  These would often precede a sense of "haziness" and a feeling of being "in a dream" of sorts and usually always followed by a hot flash and some slight nausea.  I never lost consciousness nor was I unaware of what was happening around me.  These stopped after being put on phenytoin (aka Dilantin).

I'm not saying this is the only explanation but if the episodes are recurring, it may be worth looking into.

Deja vu is an inability of the mind to make purposeful contact with that which it is previously familiar or in contact with.  If it is happening constantly then you should get a professional's opinion.  Certain meditational practices induce what you are describing, but if you are unsure it is better to go to the pros.
