life or death, what do you choose?

If you could choose to live forever (in this life) would you?
-please explain why.

please note:
-assume that there is no middle ground: it is either forever or die from old age, ill health, accident, whatever.
-also assume that the world will not end and humans are not to become extinct.

To chose to live forever in this life? With all the pain in the butt stuff we have to deal with day to day? That depends on the specific parameters. If this life was all there was and when it ended I would just stop exsisting. Then the choice would be to stay here. To continue to learn to coup with the unpleasant things. Now say I had a defect to my body. Like I was parallized or was missing my legs. Or was in prison forever. Then If this world found a way to become a true paradise where peace and harmony was the norm? Then ?  I have a hard time envisioning what it would be like with the parameters you have set up. I am going to live forever. Just not here.

Oh God what a question....Yeh I'd stay, there's so much I want to do, and so much more. Besides, there would have to be peace. No one would be able to get ill, or get killed, or even get hurt, (because you mention no ill health, I presume you mean on all forms, mental, physical, emotional etc..). so there would be no prisons...no wars...and if everyone voted for immortality ,lol, who wouldn't....we would all multiply (or would we?) and life would find a way to accomodate that(perhaps a new planet would sprout nearby and we'd all sprout wings if science couldn't catch up..., lol)....

Ok, I've had to come back to this...If there was no accidents (as you say) do you mean as in just that we wouldnt die accidently or do you mean, no accidents would occur therefor everyone that stayed would live intentionally?
