Bitter and Cynical
« on: November 20, 2009, 11:38:24 PM »
How should one deal with a bitter andf cynical person?
Does fighting fire with fire help when it comes to a bitter person?
Or should you be positive about them, aknowledging their positive qualities and make them feel appreciated? Will they appreciate it?
Ignore them maybe?
Explain to them that their behaviour stinks?

What is the best way to come in terms with a bitter person that all they have to say is in a cynical way?

fighting fire with fire is unlikely to help.

the right way to respond would depend on the individuals involved.

i would say in general a levelling atitude would have the best effect. a leveller would bring everything back to an even groud by identifying what is real in the situation. a leveller will look through the negastivity of the cynical bitter person and try tro identify what is fact.

do you have any examples of a situation that you felt someone was being bitter and cynical?
