the Psychology Forums: Psychology Books Wish list

I thought it would be useful to put together a wish list of books that people want or are interested in but dont have yet.

there are a number of reasons why this would be useful and there are a few possibilities that our community could do with such a list of books. for example a book exchange club for approved members or use our book list for competition prizes etc.

i'll start the list off with my two most wanted books.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychiatric Problems A Practical Guide (Oxford Medical Publications) (Paperback) by Keith Hawton (Editor), et al.

The Divided Self by R.D. Laing

And the  LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as  one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

The Doors of Perception and Heaven and Hell

this is a good read.
When the doors of perception are cleansed, man will see things as they truly are, infinite.
William Blake

I believe  that everyone has sometimes in depression like home problems, office problems etc just loss yourself and let them go not think too much about the trouble! and if you want to take services for your stress treatment then it is  also a good idea.

I'm now looking for a good book about alcohol and drug effects, addiction and withdrawal, I want something with good description of physical and mental health issues and physiology of addiction and withdrawal, not so much about psychotherapy itself. I guess I'll rather have to visit bookshops than browse internet.
