Wasn't sure if I should put this in parapsychology or psychology theory!

You can find his work and some of his papers here:  http://www.paulpearsall.com/info/press/3.html

I'm personally not buying the whole cellular memory thing.  I did a bit of research and found people undergoing or having gone through a major surgery experience major psychological, cognitive, and behavioral changes.

Most of their evidence is based on anecdotal evidence.  A fair helping of complementary bias and hindsight basis thrown in by the people receiving the "memories."  It's not until almost the end of the movie that they inform you that only between 5% and 10% of transplant patients experience things like this.  Dr. Pearsall's paper says 2 to 5 parallels between donor and the receiver.  Come on, how many of us without getting a transplant have 2 to 5 parallel traits?

I'm currently looking for more specific published work to rebut the movie.  Any interesting papers you could link would be appreciated.

I've heard of someone taking up smoking after having some sort of transplant from a person who was actually a smoker.
